Cheap lavalier microphone for any camera including the Kodak Zi8

Free Video Guide, Product Reviews No Comments »

I get a LOT of people requesting information on an inexpensive microphone that can be used with a Kodak Zi8 camera (which has an external microphone input) or any consumer or prosumer camera that’s cheap, easy to use and gets decent results.

Here’s one that’s only $23.99 from Amazon:

Audio Technica ATR-3350 Lavalier Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone

And in case you’re looking for an excellent deal on Kodak Zi8 replacement batteries, check this out – I found some that work for $2.55 each! (better than the $25 Kodak charges :) )

LiveScribe “Pulse” Electronic Pen Review – and FREE Drawing!

Free Video Guide, Important News 124 Comments »

The LiveScribe Pulse Electronic Pen System turns paper into a PDF document, Flash video and audio recording in seconds!

I think it’s one of the most valuable little gadgets I’ve used in a long time – and it’s a cure for a problem I had a week ago.

I left my Moleskine leather notebook on a US Airways plane from San Diego to Atlanta on the way to StomperNET. It had weeks worth of notes, action items, diagrams, plans, new product ideas and more. :(

All gone. :( :( :(

If I would have had the Pulse, nothing would have been lost. Because it would have been stored along with recorded audio notes of everything I had drawn.

But now that I have the LiveScribe, there’s nothing to worry about anymore – my notes are safe in my computer and stored online.

Watch the video to see how it works and if you haven’t already registered for the drawing, make sure you sign up here.

I recently used the Videos Camera Buyer’s Guide in Traffic Geyser and found the information helped me considerably. Now I’m thinking about switching from my PC to a Mac Book Pro and I am going to watch the PC or Mac video to get some tips.

The blog posts are a great help and have saved me a lot of time.

Thanks Traffic Geyser!
