PPS – the most common questions so far are:

Q. “Is there a way to connect to an external microphone?”

A: Nope. If you REALLY need an external microphone, you’ll need to get a real camcorder. A real camcorder with an external microphone costs about $400+. Canon has several models that you can get for a little under $400 that do this. I believe the ZR400 is one of them.

Q: “Is there a way to record with exernal audio and then sync the two up?”

A: There *is* a way, but I think that’s a waste of valuable time. Instead of saving a couple bucks on a camera, just get a REAL camera (see above). Recording with a separate microphone and then syncing the audio and video later is a big waste of time.

Q: What’s that cool video player you’re using that lets you put forms on top of your videos?
