Great information, Mike and Jorge – I’m following the Slimmer’s World plan with some pals and it sounds similar in approach to your programme and avoids dried fruit and smoothies etc. I have to watch the bananas.
Quorn burgers/sausages are my favourite protein source. I’m going to take a look at your books.

Excellent information! I have cut out a ton of sugar by drinking only water with all of my meals. I feel and look a lot better!

Thank you so much for this video and Jorge’s program. I have been working hard to loose weight for years and although I am quite good and have lost bout 30lbs, I just could not loose the belly fat.
Now I know why!
I am really looking forward to getting back the body I had in my early twenties. I will let you know how I get on.

Very good interview, Mike. More people need to understand the importance of regulating insulin levels like Jorge speaks about. The Standard American Diet (SAD) is crippling folks health. It’s good to see someone standing-up to the food industry to empower the masses with sound information.
I’m glad he also touched on Blaylock’s work about artificial sweetener “excitotoxins” like Aspartame and how they ACTUALLY make you fat. The science has been there for quite awhile, it just used to be much easier to suppress…

This is so exciting! I have a huge family history of diabetis and so many friends who struggle with weight issues. In my business I am becoming more of a wellness coach to my clients and have been looking for something that could help them more. I can’t wait to see the book.

Finally people have woken up to the great evil that is white sugar. You can find it in so much processed packeted food.
Michel Montignac wrote ‘Dine Out And Lose Weight’ years ago which highlighted the fact that white sugar is deadly.
It’s really great that someone is out there fighting the good fight for a sugar free diet…Now just push the need for everyone to take more care and think about what they are eating.
Moral: Buy as much fresh seasonal produce from your local farmers market as you can. Spend more time in your own kitchen cooking healthy meals.
Otherwise Social Proof, Empathy and other strategies came through strongly.
I have to practice, practice, practice to get it to the same level of relaxed natural conversation in front of a camera

Did I miss the secret to getting on TV? In any event, I drink 8 to 10 diet cokes a day. And in the last 2 years I have put on 22 lbs. I had attributed this to turning 50, but I think the sodas alone have damaged my health. I start now. No more DC and monitor the sugar. Thanks Mike and Jorge. This site is truly evolving. You must be excited about reaching people on different levels. Bravo.

I really, really liked this interview. However, I kind of doubt that 100% of the population will one day be overweight. This is because I believe we are still going to have those with eating disorders, more specifically anorexia, and we will still have those with an amazing metabolism.

I had been sick all summer with an allergic rhinitis. The 10 day master cleanse totally got rid of the runny nose, headaches, chest and sinus congestion.
This was amazing to me because I use the green products, eat raw and exercise, dont stay stressed out and rest well. I just couldn’t get better.

Everyone I know seems to be on this diet. My relatives are all dropping pounds and swear by “Somersizing.” Suzanne Somers discovered this diet while seated in a garden in a medieval French village. That tells me it must be a great diet! I love France.
After finishing a delicious dinner, she stood up and picked some cherries from a tree overhead. Her host told her that would cause indigestion and keep her up all night. It turned out to be true and she discovered the centuries-old theory of food combining. This dictates that certain foods must never be eaten together.
This diet allows proteins and fats to be eaten together, but never with carbohydrates. Her plan is low in sugar and carbohydrates, but permits all sorts of fruits. Fruit must however be eaten on an empty stomach. Vegetables, bread, cereal and pasta may never be eaten with fats or proteins.
She has tried all the other diets and finally found one that worked for her. When she hit 40, her metabolism slowed down and she was getting fewer and fewer results. She finally tried food combining and it worked. She lost 20 lbs. She believes sugar was the enemy. She recommends going cold turkey the first week you are on her diet.
She also recommends exercise. One thing she says is that you should give yourself at least a few weeks to start seeing the results.
Her plan includes: Eliminating sugar, starch, white flour, caffeine and alcohol. You must eat fruit alone on an empty stomach. Proteins can be eaten with cheese, butter and vegetables. Pasta may be eaten with veggies. You must wait three hours between meals if switching from a protein/fat meal to a carbohydrate meal or vice versa. Eat at least three meals a day and don’t skip meals.
It sounds simple until you have to give up your buttered toast with jam and tea! I am going to try the fruit idea for sure and try to incorporate more of her ideas. I already hardly eat sugar because I found Stevia, which tastes so much better than all those artificial sweeteners. So, give this diet a try. My uncle has lost quite a few pounds and swears by food combining. He also loves to eat!
