The 10 x 10 x 4 Market Domination Formula

Free Video Guide Add comments

This video guide tackles the problem many Web marketers have determining how to create video content that converts viewers into buyers without being “sales-ey.”

Mike Koenigs reveals his system for informing or educating prospects, establishing your credibility and creating a burning desire for a product. The 10×10x4 system is a simple yet effective way to create a body of valuable content that your prospects will go crazy for. At the same time it establishes you as a credible expert—someone they can trust on an important topic.

I enjoyed the video and I would like to learn more, however, I would have to start from scratch. For example, do I need to have many blog sites; what is the most effective video creator I can use;how much would it cost to get off the blocks and runnin. These are just a few questions I have.

  2. Steve Nam Says:

    Hey Mike!

Been catching up on these videos, and man you’ve really been pumping out some REALLY GOOD content.

First the what to buy and where to get it, then the PC vs MAC video, then the “communicating to anybody” points… all really great videos and they kept getting better.

This one took the cake for me. 10×10x4 method is where it’s at. Video is my favorite way of getting traffic, and really it would be so cumbersome without Traffic Geyser.

I remember when Traffic Geyser first came out. You guys always have been working to keep the service 10 notches above the rest. Thanks Mike. TRAFFIC GEYSER ROCKS!

I have never seen anything like this inclusive marketing program. Great System! I have one question about marketing the products in the funnel, would we be partnering with these companies?

    Hi Mike,

My hats off to you for producing unreservedly the most enticing, informative no hype or fluff video i have seen in a long time.Better still the fact that it’s backed up by such an awesome product such as “Traffic Geyser” just made it addictive viewing.

Your approach is without doubt the most “Refreshing” devoid of “Hype”,”Listen & Learn” method i have had the pleasure to review. You gave up more in 15 minutes for FREE than the majority of self styled “Guru’s” do after purchasing one of their over hyped and overpriced products.

    Thanks for Sharing

    Yours

    What up Mike!

It’s been awhile since I last saw you in Denver, CO when we did the Next Internet Millionaire. I’m digging your vids and your new launch, keep that value coming!

This is a really powerful formula for dominating any niche, not to mention educating people instead of HARD selling them.

    GOOD WORK Mike!

Hey thanks for sending me that Ipod Nano too! You didn’t say why you sent it in the package, but thanks for sending it anyway haha! I love getting free stuff…

Keep being a bad ass video Ninja!

    Your Ninja Sensai,

  6. John Young Says:

I’m really blow away but the power and prospects of the potential of this…I can’t wait to get my hands on Traffic Geyser!!!

  7. HAL Says:

    Dear Mike:

Yes, I can see how this might work, especially if the vids do a good job of building authority.
I like to know a little more about exactly how many people are viewing internet marketing vids and if possible, bounce rates before I bought the whole idea hook line and sinker though.

Perhaps niche sophistication is also a factor…e.g. FAQ’s followed by “you should asks” would work quite well in a niche with many competitors have similar products on offer like foreign exchange trading platforms.

As someone interested in affiliate products I am concerned about the issue of integrity. I do want to promote affiliate products that I believe in but I want to disclose my interest and still get the sale!

My last point is technicals. You talk about videos here there and everywhere on blogs and sites.
I need to know exactly how and on which exact pages to embed vids tactically [landing pages and thank yous in WP.]
Are you really going to provide the necessary hand holding?
There are lots of great products out there but implementing/execution is the sina qua non of success and there’s always a gremlin waiting to bite.

    Best of Luck!

    HAL

  8. Matt Says:

Great tips and content given here. The systems looks solid. Video are certainly more engaging. Only concern for me is the time taken to download videos. Be great if we can have them downloaded to prospect PCs fast enough to avoid the bufferring…

  9. Simon Plant Says:

    Hi,
I’ve submitted my videos to about a dozen video sites.
Do you have to change the titles and desciptions (spin) to get them ranked in google?
eg with written articles if google sees the same article title etc on various sites it won’t display them in it’s search.
    Simon

    Great question.
    No you don’t. Here’s why.

Google looks at all the video sites as individual “authority sites.”

They don’t determine what users submitted content and by what name.

So they don’t see each video on each site as duplicate content.

That’s why you frequently DOMINATE an entire page of Google results – because each video is unique on every site!

  10. James R Rundell Jr. Says:

    Mike,

I just watched the 10×10x4 Video and it was Amazing. I had gotten away from using Traffic Geyser. How irresponsible to be pennywise and Pound foolish ! When people begin to understand the Magnitude of list building and relationship managemnet over the recognition longhaul, you can’t afford not to utilize this information and submission system. Your Videos are informative and are another source of education inherent in the Traffic Geyser Program that is invaluable to a Serious Marketer ! Thankyou for the Cutting Edge Update and technology service you and your Team provides ! Jim Rundell Upstate NY. http://www.LivingLifeLiving.com

  11. Ron Borg Says:

Great content. My question – I hope it’s not a dumb one… do you use a teleprompter? Story boards? If not, do you rehearse or do you wing it? The only videos I have made I have had to either read from a script like a speech or I’d read from the monitor not even trying to look into the camera at all, kind of like an interview. What’s the best way to handle this?

See my response to Brian above. In most cases, I prepare a presentation and yes, I go through it a couple times to get comfortable with the way it’s organized and the flow. I set up a monitor or laptop near the camera and control the presentation remotely, talking through the slides and bullets I’ve laid out. It only takes a little practice to get comfortable with the setup.

  12. MrBig212 Says:

Very , very useful info!! One question; seems that TG has a worldwide wide or national scope. What if we are a local service provider? My wife & I are local Realtors in Northern NJ. We don’t need massive exposure, just local. Any thoughts??

Many thoughts! We just did a Webinar where I interviewed one of our members who is making high six figures this year providing Web video marketing services for local businesses. Rocket, Frank and I are putting together a live three-day event for the end of January in San Diego called “Powered by Traffic Geyser: How to Build Your Own Web Video Business” where we will cover a ton of info like positioning your business, pitching clients, video strategies, blogging and podcast strategies for businesses, lead capture & follow up, and various production scenarios including location shooting. More details soon… Also, the Certification Course and coaching program we’re offering in the package tomorrow includes some great info on researching clients’ businesses, developing strategies and campaigns and production/editing training…Stay tuned!

  13. James Lloyd Says:

You guys are so cutting edge with this technology.

  14. Dave Says:

I am speechless. The obvious results to this system is more than clear and concise to anyone. I have been and am working on a information product and the added value of your 10×10x4 is really not accurate. It should be 10×10x4 zillion. The Ripple Effect is a Tsunami!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. JP Bonar Says:

Another winning video! The information and step by step process this video provides is outstanding. This 10×10x4 aspect of video marketing you have created here is such a first hand look at the power of marketing this way. I am absolutely thrilled to be a member of Traffic Geyser for one reason and one reason only…

IT WORKS! CONGRATULATIONS AND THANK YOU!

    JP

  17. Mike Hill Says:

    Good stuff Mike…

    Mike Hill

  18. Thomas Leonard Says:

    Mike,
All of you videos are great and like you say they help build crediblity as you have done with yours.
I am looking forward to working with you at TrafficGeyser! I hope that I can afford you.
Matt brings up a good point, as when I travel with my aircard for the laptop it seems to choke on most video files, IE buffering and takes twice as long to view a video as the video is actually. 1 minute turns to 2 or sometimes 3 and the go up from there. Is there anything in the future that will help that? Verizon is not offering any answers, yet.

  19. Scott McCollum Says:

    Hey Mike,
Any good free and paid teleprompters that you recommend? i always forget what i want to say or leave out something when I am making a video. If so, can you go over the downfall of the free ones VS paid ones and even the best way to use them?

    Thanks

  20. Dave Nickless Says:

What can I say Mike, I echo one of the comments above, alot of info given in a fairly short video, however, although I have a fast computer, the buffering is annoying on these longer videos, so I just push play, tuen the sound off and reduce it down, let it paly and then watch it 20-30 mins later.
So with my computer being pretty quick, my concern, again echoing a message above, is that with people with slower processors in their puters, they may just give up!!

Content is second to none, a great job Mike!!

    Dave Nickless
    http://www.yourfutureincome.co.uk

  21. Dave Nickless Says:

    Another question Mike,

How long should these 20 short videos be as a general guide?

    Dave Nickless

  22. Pierce Says:

Very nice blueprint for automating a proccess. Keep up the awsome tips.

  23. Kimberly Says:

I really liked this video it sounds to good to be true. How much money do you need to start doing this? I don’t like to pay someone to work for them cause I feel if you have to pay someone to work for them it is a scam cause when you goto work out in the public you don’t have to pay them to work for them.

  24. Brian Says:

Are you using a script and teleprompter for your videos? Can you show or explain the equipment you use and how you set this up?

I prepare a Keynote/Powerpoint presentation and run it through a teleprompter or on a laptop near the camera. It gives me some structure but also allows me to be conversational and more relaxed.

  25. FRASER Says:

SO WELL PRESENTED MIKE. A CLEAR, CONCISE AND WELL STRUCTURED PRESENTATION, DELIVERED IN A PERSONABLE AND HIGHLY ENTHUSIASTIC MANNER. I AM NOT NORMALLY GIVEN TO HYPERBOLE BUT THIS WAS GOOD FRIGGIN STUFF. WELL DONE DUDE.

  26. Christian Says:

Fantastic content on all of the videos that you have provided so far… Very impressed… Ive been considering ‘Traffic Geyser’ for a while, but was unsure of how to create effective video’s… I’m pretty sure now that you have the trainings to make it happen within your ‘T G’ membership.

I look forward to getting started ;-)

    Keep up the good work

    Kindest regards

    Christian

  27. Phil Wheatley Says:

    Hi Mike

This system is amazing, video is surely the way forward and your system makes it a lot easier. I know from a certain long haired surfer marketer from San Diego that it must be good because he was raving about it in a promotion I saw.

Having seen this new video, it’s brought back into the light how good this is and should be part of anybody’s arsenal.

    Phil

  28. Alex Soler Says:

    Thanks for the video, Mike!

Looks to good to be true, but I would give it a try!

  30. Peter Fry Says:

Video is the best without question…there’s a BUT coming>>> you gotta look like Mike, sound like Mike, know your stuff like Mike….there’s an art in that.
I’d like to know what you outsource Mike. ok you make the videos but is everything else outsourced by you then? It is all very time consuming

  31. Todd Thompson Says:

Awesome! I am going to buy a flip camera today.
This concept is amazing … everyone should be doing this.

    Thank.

    Todd Thompson

  32. Dr.John Whitney Says:

Congratulations and thank you. You have just set a benchmark that will set a new standard for your peers. As has been noticed the quality of the promo in this particular market is ramping up by the month. Reese kicked it off, Stomper hit another high, your productions will now be the envy of everyone in the biz. I think even Frank may be dragged, kicking and screaming, into the fray. I predict studio quality for all players within a year. We’ll all be able to say. “I remember when . . .”

  33. Gavin Cole Says:

    Hi Mike

  34. Clyo Beck Says:

My frustration has been that we are delivering excellent content that every credit card holder “should know” yet get so little traffic to our blog.

You hit the nail on the head when you talked about a situation in which people “do not know what they do not know” and, therefore, do not search for your product.

    That’s exactly where we are.

So I think you are exactly right. Instead of just posting text, videos would not only be more compelling, but we could get our content – and our product – out through the method you describe.

I cannot thank you enough for this entire series, Mike. It is exceptional.

  35. Dave Ovenden Says:

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for another great video. This certainly sounds like a powerful technique for getting traffic.

  36. Mike Grafstein Says:

    Mike,
Great info; however I left the video a little confused
on the order that the potential client gets the videos.
Where does the “buy my stuff!” video fit in relation to the twenty videos answering questions?

It’s one of the 4. The follow-up call to action to the series.

  37. Ron Hendrick Says:

Hi, Mike. Great marketing plan. I am just starting to get involved in the “net” marketing. I feel sure I will use your Traffic Geyser system. I also wonder about the need to already have blog sites in place prior to launching the Traffic Geyser system. In my business (Ambit Energy) at this time I am looking for consultants who see its’ “Universal product ” appeal, as everyone uses electricity, but later, I will want to promote other people’s products, i.e. be an affiliate. my problem is that I don’t have a “list” . I believe your system will really help generate interest, aka names list, right? Ron

  38. Helen Says:

Finally watched part of video, not full video yet. I guess that traffic geyser will distribute videos, but how about submission to social bookmarking, social network sites and blogs, etc. ? It seems lot of works or time consuming.

Traffic geyser can do rest of submission or just video distribution?

    Traffic Geyser Submits to:
    33 Video Sites
    22 Social Networking Sites
    Unlimited Blogs
    Creates Podcasts
    Submits to 13 Podcast Directories
    (about 80 services in all)

    It also will:
    Capture Leads
    Follow Up with Leads Automatically
    And about 15 additional features

We include tons of training videos and provide multiple levels of support.

We even sign up for all the services so you don’t have to spend 4-5 hours doing it yourself.

Great content. Keep up the good work and keep ‘em coming. I do have one problem though – I can’t get the pdf to download – is there any other place to grab it at?

  43. Mike Says:

    Mike,
Your 10 X 10 X 4 video is the most insightful I’ve seen. Thank you for sharing some truly useful info. I’m curious as to how you posted this without using You-Tube or some other video host. It looks very professional (of course) and clean; no logos from other sites.
I’m working on an idea for a new info product that I think has super potential but I’m still a one-man operation and I think I’ll need help. Does your program address outsourcing?
    Thanks again.

We host on Amazon’s S3 servers. They’re fast, cheap and easy to use.

Our program addresses outsourcing. There’s an entire video on the topic and I even include a want ad you can post to get a qualified person to help you!

  45. Bruce Says:

Great video Mike, you make it sound so easy but not so easy for the average internet marketer to get up and running with the 20+ videos, You have a great online presence but some of us are not so camera confident.

3 years ago I didn’t spend any time behind the camera. But after being a cameraman and “behind the scenes guy”, I decided it was time to get in front of the camera and share my knowledge and experience with the world.

And what do you know, it’s working!

    Here’s the deal:

Ed McMahon ain’t coming to your door to give you a $1,000,000 check if you sit on your butt, eat a bag of Doritos, drink beer and watch TV.

And I guarantee you, that you probably won’t win the lottery either.

You’ve got to decide you want to give the world some knowledge, stand up and share your gift with the world.

    It’s as simple as that.

Your first video will probably be your worst. And your second video will most likely be your second worst.

And after 10 videos or so, they’ll get better.

And after 50 or so, you’ll seem like a natural!

But if you have GOOD CONTENT, people will overlook your presence and love you for what you’re giving them.

Do you think Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Johnny Carson, David Letterman or Oprah woke up one day and had awesome camera presence?

    NO!

I’ll telll you the same thing I told my business partner Frank Sousa 2 years ago when he said to me:

“Mike, I’m fat, old and ugly. Nobody wants to look at me.”

My reply to him was this:

“Frank, how many people have unsubscribed from your newsletter because they didn’t like how you look? And if they did, do you really want to do any business with them anyway? GET OVER IT!”

His response was, “you know, Mike, that’s a good point.”

That week, Frank set up a studio at his house, shot a video, sent it out and got over 100 new subscribers to his database because his existing list shared his video with a whole bunch of their friends.

Frank’s a nice guy. People like him. He has a friendly presence on camera.

Now he’s my business partner and he’s making a ton of money, having the time of his life and sharing his knowledge and gift with the rest of the world.

My question to you is this:

When are you going to get over it and share what you know with the world?

We’re all going to be dead soon.

Are you going to leave without sharing your gifts with the world?

What are you REALLY afraid of?

  55. Darrell Says:

great content Mike…formula sounds pretty powerful and simple. i’ve been looking for a simple plan of attack and this definitely seem to be it.

question – if traffic geyser submits all 20 videos to the various video sites making them 80, where do we store the videos so that the prospect doesn’t find all of the videos and bypass our squeeze page (which is the plan in the first place)…it seems to me that when i find a video, i usually find tons of other content associated with the producer…this is confusing to me….thank you for sharing.

Great question. 99% of the time, people don’t look for all of your other videos if you make it easy to get to your “squeeze page” to capture names. That’s why you put a “bottom 3rd” on your videos and in your descriptions so it’s easy to click and sign up!

  56. Jim Howey Says:

Mike, great video, I will be signing up. The pdf download looks good on the computer, but I’ve printed it on 2 different printers and it’s gets jumbled, any thoughts?

    Mike,

Just finished 4 Simple Questions and 10×01x4. Wow! I am a victim of a recent corp layoff after years in mainstream marketing. Now, I want to go alone online and am in mega learning mode, but love your content. I’m interested in morphing my years of launching software products into the corporate world, with internet marketing techniques for specialized markets using online video combined with email video. You are filling in some key gaps for me. You and another (shh..it’s Ed Dale) are the most articulate marketers and educators I’ve come across. THANK YOU…Keep me posted about San Diego!!! I’d love to attend.

  65. Kathleen Says:

You did great job…I do not know how well I would film. How much does this program cost

  66. Joel Says:

    Hi Mike,

I would like to know if the 10×10x4 formula will work for an E-Commerce Site that sells hundreds of items catalog style (such as Best Buy, Nordstrom, etc…). I am under the impression that squeeze pages are not appropriate for this kind of business model.

    Thank you,
    Joel

    Hi Joel,
For products like yours, I’d drive people directly to an order page. Ideally, you’d set up a “redirect” on your site so when someone clicked on YourDomain.com/12345/ where “12345″ is the catalog or model number of your product, they’d go right to the order page.

The key thing is to sell your products as SOLUTIONS to PROBLEMS people have when they’re searching for something.

The best solution I’ve seen (and there’s a testimonial at http://www.TrafficGeysr.com/celebrate/ you can see from a guy who’s doing this) is to submit your videos with model numbers included.

So if you were selling used cars, you’d call your videos:

    MAKE MODEL YEAR LOCATION

    for example:

Used Car Red Mustang Convertible 1996 San Jose
    and
San Jose Used Car 1996 Red Mustang Convertible
    and
Red 1996 Mustang Convertible San Jose Used Car
    and
Used Mustang Convertible San Jose 1996 Red

    Why?

Because when people search for things and they’re READY TO BUY, they search for SPECIFICS, not GENERAL stuff.

I know you’re in the catalog business – but the more NICHE and LOCALIZED you get, the higher the probability that you’ll convert.

Some basic keyword research with http://www.HexaTracker.com will help you determine what people are searching for. I know the guys who created this service and they give Traffic Geyser customers a free account.

There’s a whole chapter in one of my training videos on how to do keyword research.

Make sure you check out our entire package at http://www.TrafficGeyser.com/celebrate/ to learn more.

How on earth could anyone NOT succeed in today’s day and age with all the advanced help you’ve created in exposing their business online.
    What an amazing resource.
This system would especially work fantastically well for the person who isn’t all that familiar with all the traffic sites you outlined in this video introduction.
Could you imagine the amount of wealth a person could generate WITHOUT experiencing all the stress and hassle of having to upload their video content into all those sites?
The freedom and ease of outsourcing the bulk of the work load while enjoying the results using a multi million dollar advertising platform.
Thanks to you and Eban for sending this material out.
    Much appreciated

Hi, Mike. Thanks for this great video. This reminds me one highly aggressive web 2.0 strategy but you have done here is separated yourself turned this into a White-Hat video super power.

I got to admit that if your tool does what you say, then this is incredibly amazing software there.

p.s. Any chances you could offer this like pay-per-distribution service like it happens with other PR web sites (e.g. prweb, and alike?); 19.95$ per getting videos in 5600 locations would make really attractive deal!

p.s. And of course – congratulations on your 2nd birthday!

  75. Dushan Says:

Wow! Mike I once created a 10×10x20 distribution formula. It required long hours that went into days and months of sweat and toil with much less conversion than I predict your system will deliver. But after seeing your 10×10x4 formula I’m totally comatose. You have created a system that does over 500% more with much less effort. Bravo ! Traffic Geyser becomes a traffic tsunami.
    Excellent work !

  78. Nancy Hults Says:

excellent video Mike, I love the great ideas about what kind of content to make your videos cover.

Question: when I make these videos,Do I use the same keywords and general descriptions for each one of the 20 videos or am I trying to use different keywords to reach more people?

    Thanks for the great info.

    Nancy

Great questions, Nancy. We get into this in depth in the training videos and certification course but the bottom line is you MUST vary your titles, descriptions and keywords for best results. The search engines will pretty much ignore your videos if you just replicate the titles, descriptions and keywords. That’s why a tool like Hexatracker.com is so valuable.

  79. Dan tanner Says:

Thank you for this inspiring videos. I have seen many people do these videos and they rank very well in Google search engines and right away! You can dominate ‘ long tailed keywords’ with these videos all in all. In fact there was a video with Hexatrack guys that I saw here.

  86. Apy Says:

Hi Mike! That was such a great video! Before joining I would love to know a little bit more of how to do this, since I am a total newbie. Will you teach me how to edit my videos? Will I need to join tons of blogs companies? How do I blog? You know, what would you say to a newbie, how to start on this and how long will it takes to start generating money? What I’m saying is that since I’m a newbie, which means I haven’t generated any money, and I’m going to invest $500 and then some more monthly. Do you believe that I would learn so fast that I am going to start to generate prospects right away? I hope you understand my question, I’m spanish and my english is a little funny, ha.
    Thanks Mike!
    Apy

    Hi Apy,
    Great questions.
This video was just produced – it’s brand-new. All of training you’re asking about is part of the Traffic Geyser Platinum program. You can read about the entire program, training and support package at http://www.TrafficGeyser.com/celebrate.

We teach editing, blogging and money-making strategies.

More soon – you’re going to see some new videos from us very shortly!

  87. Jason Says:

I’m a Traffic Geyser user and love it. However, I have some questions about the 10 X 10 X 4 formula. When producing the 10 FAQ and 10 short answer videos, does each video only cover one question or topic and should the FAQ videos lead to anything else?

    Thanks for the great content,
    Jason

Yes, each video should ONLY answer one question. Each video should be about 30 seconds to 3 minutes in length. I recommend adding a quick “if you want more, go to MyDomain.com/free/ to sign up to get more” or wherever you want people who watch these videos to go to get more.

  88. Louie Frias Says:

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for an awesome presentation.

I’m confused. I will refer to the pages of the PDF for my questions.

1.On page 3, item 6, “Upload your videos”. If these vids are all over the net via Traffic Geyser, why would a prospect sign up to get them once a day as described on page 5? (Lead capture page)

I could do a search for a phrase and land on video No. 12 in a series of 20. I then sign up for the “series” and receive video No. 12 later on. The one I originally found.

You have to remember what YOUR OUTCOME IS: GET PEOPLE TO SIGN UP. PERIOD.

Most people will only find ONE of your videos online. They will go to your lead page to sign up. Once they register, you send them a video a day. So what if they get a duplicate video?

What I’ve been doing is sending people to a BLOG where all the videos are posted. They can watch all the videos there if they want to. They can comment, get social proof from the comments and build rapport with you.

But you’ll also want to send them a message a day – summarizing what they’re learning along the way and pointing them to a specific video whenever possible.

    Make sense?

    2. On page 5, there’s a static lead capture page. That isn’t going to be found as a video. That’s a normal lead capture page requiring all the normal marketing. Only if you use what’s on page 6 tied to enough long tail key phrases would that page show up.

I think you’re missing the whole point here. There are multiple ways you’re going to get traffic with our strategy.

#1: At the end of every video you broadcast, you have a CALL TO ACTION. That says, “if you like this video, go to MyDomain.com/free/ (or wherever your lead capture page exists) and I’ll give you 20 videos like this one”. So anyone who sees any of your videos can go there to get more… You’ll find the traffic from this type of source to be the best traffic that converts at the highest rate.

#2: Every time you submit one of your videos with Traffic Geyser, you’re specifying the address of your LEAD CAPTURE PAGE during the submission (e.g. YourDomain.com/free/). That page is going to get indexed and backlinked.

And if you set up blogs to post to, your pages will get indexed multiple times from multiple places as well.

That’s the magic of Traffic Geyser – you’re creating this huge web of links both from your videos, to your videos and all of the pages on your site!

I’ve created my 20 questions and the accompanying vidoe answers and the short “mini” videos. I’d like to understand the rest before continuing.

If I’m missing something, please set me straight.

    Thanks.

on the internet, thank you werymuch for such free video stuff..

  93. Zach Johnson Says:

What size of a market can we reach with this strategy? Are we looking at keyword markets on average under 500,000 searches a month, 100,000 searches a month, or 30,000 a month. I think this is important to know before I sign up as I would like to know how much of a niche my business and product needs to be in.

    Hi Zach,
Great question. You can succeed in ANY NICHE. When I talk about 300,000 searches, that’s only for a “keyword phrase” and it’s a rule of thumb for the probability of success that you’ll be able to DOMINATE that phrase.

So for example, if you search for “san diego plumber”, there are 362,000 competing pages when I search for that. It tells me that there’s a relatively high probability that you can achieve a top ranking quickly.

I currently have a ranking for “san diego plumber” in the Google Top 50 which isn’t real great.

But if you drill down a little, I have a Google Top 20 for “best san diego plumber”.

But I also went after mispellings – a common one is “plummer”.

So I went after “san diego plummer” and “plummer san diego” and currently rank #1 for both of those phrases.

    Does that make sense?

  94. JP Says:

We both watched the videos together and were wowed. My friend owns your video info-mercial course and it is great. But heck, the two of us are just trying to eat at this time as the economy has chewed away our income and governmental agencies, the utilities, are raising their rates here in NYC … just to make sure we go in the hole. Mike, you’re a genius. Great personality on video. I would like to be there with Frank and you .. but the pricing is way out of our league right now. But thanks for all the good ideas.

Tony Robbins can afford the program. But Tony started out doing free seminars, firewalks and lucked out in the infancy of cable tv when the stations were clueless as what to charge for an infomercial and had to fill airtime. Tony charged forth, blazing the networks 24/7, on a modest budget. Take the average infomercial now .. what a difference … My friend who works at Oreck Vacuum cleaner talks about the MILLIONs it costs to produce what used to cost hundreds.

  95. Bob C Says:

Wow! Great stuff that actionable by anybody. Everything any marketer needs or wants to know about getting traffic and sales is right here. Can’t wait to get started.

  96. CHuck Says:

    Hey Mike!

I’m curious if you would address video and audio hosting. I wnat to post video/audio to a blog and don’t want to overload servers so that videos load slow. What’s the best hosting solution or is this a non issue?

    CK

    Chuck,
We host everything on Amazon’s S3 servers. They use a “storage cloud” which basically means everything is redundant, on demand and unlimited. When you sign up for Traffic Geyser’s Platinum account, we host everything for you and give you (virtually) unlimited storage and bandwidth. It’s a non-issue now.

The second thing we do is provide a custom player that uses YouTube as a hosting provider but removes the YouTube branding. It’s totally legit – we’re using YouTube’s API but means you’re getting unlimited hosting from YouTube without the hassles!

  97. Kevin Puls Says:

We plan on trying Traffic Geyers for our first, original site.

It’s been up for eight weeks today (two months), and we have an Alexa ranking of 1.2896 million.

We just shot our first video to drive folks to the shopping page- just in time for Cyber Monday. 10% of the after-tax proceeds go to military-based charities.

    Hi Mike,

Really, no really … awesome stuff you’ve been sharing with us. It’s cut above what’s shared by many others out there for free. Thank you.

Question: What if you have a service that really does not get a ton of traffic or many clicks? Does this need to be more focused on a higher traffic market? I know obvious answer, but I’m still curious to get the straight answer. I’m guessing … you gotta go where the fish are biting.

    Thanks again,

    Mark

    AWESOME question.

Focus on dominating your target niche first. Then branch out.

Use the 10×10x4 method to create FAQ videos that answer questions and SOLVE PROBLEMS people are trying to solve when they’re searching for solutions online.

This will help you BREAK into other areas of focus and markets you haven’t thought of.

Keyword research will help you here.

  99. chris Says:

i’m interested in traffic geyser but, let me ask you a question. I’ve been checking out a few keyword phrases and doing some research on how many times they are searched a month. with 40,000 , 100,000 and even 300,000, what are my odds of getting high search rankings with traffic geyser?

    Great question, Chris.

I use the 300,000-500,000 as a “rule of thumb” because everyone is looking for a “magic bullet” and a “sure thing” which of course, isn’t possible.

    Here’s the reality:

I have TONS of listings with millions of competing pages on Google’s Top 10, Top 20, Top 30. One of my favorites is on our sales page and is for “Sell Video Podcasts” – there are 69,000,000 results for that one and I’m on the first page with one of my videos.

I was #1 until my friend Paul Colligan knocked me off last week…(thanks, Paul :)

[In all seriousness - this is EXACTLY why I don't give away my most profitable keywords that I've worked hard to achieve. If I show what they are and talk about the big ones, I'll have 10,000 competitors knock me off in 24-48 hours with my tool!]

My goal is to get people started – help them achieve a top position, make their first dollar online, get some leads and see some results without a lot of work or frustration.

So to answer your question – you can set something up, make a video, publishing it and score high rankings quickly.

If you follow the steps I provide, there’s nothing saying you can’t achieve a top position in a highly competitive space with MILLIONS of competing pages in 24-48 hours and maintain them.

If the keyword phrases you’re targeting are HIGHLY COMPETITIVE and change daily due to lots of blog activity, press releases, social networking posts and videos, you’re going to have to keep up by submitting more content.

Nothing is FREE. You do have to work for it – but Traffic Geyser helps you work less, faster, more reliability with a higher degree of consistency for very little cost.

I hope this answers your question – and gives you insight.

The bottom line is you’ve got to get started, put your toe in the water and try it out.

    I always say:

“Ed McMahan isn’t going to drop by your door with a $1,000,000 check from Publisher’s Clearing House while you’re sitting on your couch eating a bag of Doritos, drinking beer and watching TV.”

Making money online isn’t hard. It really isn’t – you just need to make your first buck. Then replicate that process.

    $100 comes next, followed by $1,000, $10,000 and if you’re good, $100,000
    PER MONTH

    I’m serious.

Five years ago I hadn’t made my first dollar online…

  100. chris Says:

    Thanks Mike.

I appreciate the insight and answering my question.

I definately know that there isn’t any free lunch, I ‘ve spent thousands of dollars on info how to market on the internet, MLM training, software, etc.

The internet is my passion and I’ve believed that for awhile now. I’ve wtitten a few articles on a few products and got some traffic but nothing to recover my initial investments.

I see that Trafffic Geyser could be a good start to recovery and save alot of time.

    Thank you again, Chris

    Mike

It was great seeing you again at Stomper. I am still not clear about the issue of having to use long-tail keywords in a competitive niche as you know mine is.

You tried to explain some way to get around it, but I just didn’t get it.

So…how can I avoid having to use long-tail keywords and instead use the most seached keywords in my niche?

    Ross Jeffries

Hey! Nice to hear from you!

Bottom line: you’ve got to submit your videos with titles that are the same as the questions people type in or the OUTCOMES they desire in Google…

So if you make a video called “how to get a girl in the sack in 30 seconds flat”, make sure that’s what they’re typing in…

What I’d do is model high-ranking video titles in YouTube and create videos that have the same titles (or similar) and then post YouTube videos as responses.

Also grab their tags (keywords) when you submit yours.

Use the 10×10x4 model…that’s a great way to grab a niche and dominate…

    Does this help?

Hi Mike. The potential of this system is beyond description. I have recently written an article “Keep HOPE Alive” and am struggling with how to best promote it.
I use the Pay It Forward Movement combining the Law of Circulation, and leverage to create momentum. I have developed a way to restore the US economy within 18 to 24 months and it out performs the “stimulus” package 74 to 1.
If you will send me you email address I will send it to you and seek your advice about how to create over 74 trillion dollars circulating through the US economy within 24 months and no one is out more than a one time Pay It Forward Sponsorship of two people ($520). The profit potential is enormous. Next to Zero risk and High Performance. Thanks, Glenn

  122. Venus Says:

I’m planning my videos, but I have a HUGELY important question:

If all my videos are on all these sites, WHAT’S THE MOTIVATION for people to sign up on my lead page to receive links?

Wouldn’t they just watch them all at, say, my YouTube channel?

    Thanks, Venus

Great question. Most people won’t look for the other videos. If your offer is strong, they’ll go to your lead page or do whatever is easiest – and that’s to get everything in one place.

As a rule, people like “packages”!

Another interesting thing – most of the time, people will find your videos via a standard Google/YAHOO/MSN search. They’ll probably only find one video, click, watch and then visit your page.

We find that most of those “visits” aren’t coming from a YouTube link.

Lastly, many of our offers include more than just the free videos – an ebook, buyer’s guide, free consultation or something else that requires a visit to the site.

I love these comments and questions. It’s great that you were able to get so many willing participants to ask questions on your behalf so that you could answer them. In Aussie we call them Dorothy Dix’s. Questions that get asked to make you look good.

Hello Mike, It was great finally putting a face to a name this weekend at Stomper Net. You really seem very sincere and enthsiastic about helping people. Its my problem if I am jealous of your success! ;)

Thanks for the great video and free info.

  133. Stephen Pierce Says:

I want very badly to use the 10×10x4 method. I attempted to distribute a single video/slideshow through Traffic Geyser but all submissions are showing as ‘Failed’. I had no problem uploading this same video/slideshow to YouTube so I see no problem with the video itself. Please advise asap so that I may utilize the 10×10x4.

    Stephen,
I had one of my support team members check out your account and the reason your submissions are failing is because your description is to long. Most sites only allow a maximum of 255 characters in your description. When you get to this screen:

The websites that appear in red are likely to fail. Click on the “Info” button next to the site name and a box will appear that will tell you why your submission might fail.
    Hope this helps.
    Mike

The system sounds Great…. The part I don’t get is question and answer per video. Unless you have some nice young girl in a bikini with the Q & A on her belly who would want to click on boring Q&A videos! or am I missing something?

Most people use the internet to research a product before buying it. If you provide them with good, relevant content; then you are giving them what they were looking for as well as building yourself as an expert on the subject. This creates a relationship with the buyer so that when they are ready to buy, they will buy from you.

  139. Sunni Says:

Argh, I just scrolled through the prior comments and found 2 other comments and your answers about using a Keynote/Powerpoint presentation, sometimes scrolled through a teleprompter.

But just to be clear: Do you simply never write out your video presentations word for word anymore?

It doesn’t seem like one could come across naturally doing that. The tv news people are pretty decent at it, but it doesn’t seem like passion and enthusiasm would flow when reading word for word from a script. That’s
not something tv news people care about.

But on the Internet, that’s often the X factor to build a truly strong relationship with people we’ve never met.

    Thanks again for your insights!

    Sunni,

It’s always good to have general guidelines to follow so you don’t miss anything but it sounds more natural if you aren’t reading directly from a tele-prompter. So if I do write a script, I never follow it word for word. I will always add to or adjust the script as I go.

    Hi Mike,

Really appreciate the service you offer, and I look forward to working with you.

The question I have is regarding the definition of the term ’submission’. For example, when I record my 20 videos and they are uploaded to 50 sites, for the purpose of the various Traffic Geyser plan submission limitations, would that qualify as 20 submissions or 1,000 submissions?

Here’s to your continued and expanded success and influence… thanks for your time.

    Steve

    Hello Steve,
1 submission credit is used for every 1 video that is successfully uploaded to 1 site. Therefore, lets say you successfully upload 1 video to 50 sites, that 1 video would use 50 credits. If you did this with 20 videos, you would use 1000 credits.

Dude you are friggin brilliant. I am going to study everything you put out there. I saw your other promotion about putting people into business promoting brick and mortar businesses with online marketing. You are really on the money with this. Huge market. I just tell people I do internet marketing full time who own real businesses and they all want me to work for them. You have organized this presentation beautifully. Well done.

  142. Alan B. Says:

    Hi Mike,
Would you mind if I just run by you what we think is the complete process of the 10 x 10 x 4 process? Call me stupid if you like, but I’m trying to visualise this process as a flow chart and get it clear in my head. I think it goes like this:
    • Produce 20 short videos (10 x FAQ’s & 10 x ‘Questions you should ask’) – each one has a question posed and then answered in more detail. Perhaps the question as text and then a talking head shot to explain the answer? Each video lasting between 30 seconds and 3 minutes. These 20 videos are put through the TG machinery and will go through the multiple submission process (4x each). Each video should ideally have different titles and tags? On the end of each of these 20 videos we include a ‘call to action’ which is basically what you wrote in your 10 x 10 x 4 Pdf at 4a, for the ‘bottom ?’ on the video, and in the description.
    • This ‘call to action’ sends a prospect to our ‘video lead page’. On this page there should be a 10 minute video (or less) explaining our offer and why they should sign up, just as you describe in 4b.
    • The ‘thank you page’ with another 10 minute explanatory video, again exactly as you describe in 4c.
    • 4d also appears self explanatory…include a link to our website & sales page within every outbound email (the other 19 videos in the series plus anything else we send out). This link is where they find the last of the 4 short ‘mini’ 10 minute videos, which will be all about “Buy my stuff”.

The only part we think we don’t have a handle on is what you wrote at #4 when explaining the basic steps:

    4. Record 4 short “mini” videos (10 minutes each). Which equates to…?
Video b, on the ‘lead page’
Video c – on our ‘thank you for signing up’ page.
Video d – on our website to explain why to ‘buy my stuff’.
…that’s 3 videos? Where or what is the 4th video? The ‘get more go here’ is already included on the end of each of the 20 short videos isn’t it and surely isn’t 10 minutes long?

What are we missing here? Is there a 4th video and if there is, where do we place it?
Sorry to sound so dumb, we need to be crystal on this, and at the moment I don’t think we are. If you would assist us and make it just a little clearer, we would very much appreciate it. We can then get signed up to TG and get a couple of projects finished so they are up and running early in January 2010 and we can see some results. I’m going to record 24 videos on 1 project, and my brothers going to record another 24 videos for our second project…wish us luck.

Absolute Best Wishes to all of you at TG for Christmas and the New Year…we look forward to working with you guys in 2010.

    Thanks’ Alan B.
