We know many of you have been asking for this and we have listened. You can now set your Lead Page to have a default country code. This means you can set a pre-determined country code so when someone visits your Lead Page and enters their phone number what ever country code you set this to will automatically be inserted in front of the number so your visitor does not have to put it in.
This pull down menu represents all the countries we currently support.

Snapfish, a division of Hewlett-Packard, has acquired the Motionbox technology platform. They have announced that they will be shutting down the Motionbox.com website on August 10th, 2010. Videos hosted on Motionbox.com will not be available on this site after that time.
They are recommending that if you have any videos that are exclusively on their site that you need to download before the site is removed. Check out their transition FAQ for more details.
As of right now Motionbox is no longer accepting new registrations and will shortly be removed from our submission list.

The YouTube API that is developed and maintained by Google/YouTube is how we are able to automate submissions to their site.
They recently implemented a new restriction on this API which only allows for comma separated tags to be no more than 20 characters in length.

If your tags are greater than 20 characters YouTube will show in red in step 3 of the submission. If you select the info link just to the right it will give you the reason why it is in red and also allow you to change the tags to meet this limitation.
Should you decide to go ahead and select the site and continue with the submission without editing your tags the submission will go through but it will truncate any tags that is over this limitation to 20.
We are sorry for this but it obviously something out of our control.

I get a LOT of people requesting information on an inexpensive microphone that can be used with a Kodak Zi8 camera (which has an external microphone input) or any consumer or prosumer camera that’s cheap, easy to use and gets decent results.
Here’s one that’s only $23.99 from Amazon:
Audio Technica ATR-3350 Lavalier Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone
And in case you’re looking for an excellent deal on Kodak Zi8 replacement batteries, check this out – I found some that work for $2.55 each! (better than the $25 Kodak charges

Here at Traffic Geyser we strive to give the best possible support we possibly can as quickly as possible. We understand when you have an issue you need to have it resolved as quickly as possible.
Here are some things that will help us to help you.
1. Make sure you open a ticket in the correct category. If it is a billing issue you need to select “Billing Support.” If of a technical nature then open a ticket under “Technical Support.” Open a ticket in the wrong category can greatly increase the response time for getting your problem resolved as the ticket will need to be transferred.
2. Best to keep each ticket to a single related issue. This way the specific issue can stay on point. If you have more than one issue then open more than one ticket.
3. Be SPECIFIC as to what your issue is. Opening a ticket with something like, “I get an error message when I hit the save button”, is only going to prompt a response back of, “what save button are you hitting and what is the error message?”
You need to tell us where you are at in the software and exactly what you were trying to do at the time the error message happened. Give us step by step, click by click if you have to so we can understand exactly where you were at and what you were trying to do at the time the error happened, and if there was an error message tell us what it was.
4. If you feel it would help to show us a screen shot or possibly do a quick short desktop video you are welcome to do so. However we do not allow uploads to the ticket system.
What we suggest is using a service called Jing. This is a free application made by the people at TechSmith (makers of Camtasia). This will allow you to easily create a screen shot or a short desktop video. It will save and host it for you and all you need to do is post the URL of your screen shot or video in the ticket. It is very easy to use and I think you will really like it.
5. Always respond to a ticket by logging into the support desk and going under the view tickets tab. There your open ticket will be and you can respond. Opening a new ticket every time you respond will greatly add to the confusion factor on our end.

Over the past few month’s we’ve known that Google now uses speech to text conversion. That means that they take the SPOKEN text from your videos, and convert it to text.
While they won’t tell us WHY they do that, the obvious answer is that they are looking for RELEVANT CONTENT! They now use your spoken text to categorize and rank your video.
So we’ve been experimenting a bit, and we’ve learned that in most cases you can improve your Google ranking with your websites by adding keywords in your spoken audio. Just using music behind written text in a slide show does not work as well.
So when you are writing your scripts, put your main keywords up front, and use them throughout the video. Use them in a natural way, but write your script just as if you were writing a web page that you wanted Google to index, because with their speech to text conversion, they are applying the same algorhtythms as if it were written text.
