We recently added a new site to submit to…. eCorpTV.com.  This site specializes in business oriented videos.  I have been on the phone with them and they really want to work with us.  There are a couple of very important things you need to know about this site.

1.  The videos are manually reviewed.  That means that they will not be put up right away.  Also don’t be offended if they do not accept your video.  Their site is more narrowly focused than most video sites…  so if they feel your video does not fit their criteria, they will reject it.

2.  DO NOT under any circumstances submit multiple videos to them.   That means the same video in different formats.  They WILL reject it and possibly ban your account.  We will not be submitting multiple timed submissions to them, please do not try to do it manually.

Folks this site really wants to work with us, and if we can really focus on providing them with good clean CONTENT relating to business, we’ll have a very loyal and dedicated partner which will help all of us.

There has been some concern expressed about the previous post about the removal of unused files.    First off, you will NOT lose your videos that are in your lead pages, since those are taken from youtube or another video site.

You will NOT lose your podcasts as those are streamed from Amazon S3

They are ONLY removed from your media manager if they HAVE NOT BEEN USED (translate submitted) in the past 90 days.  You can always reload them again if you need to…

The only thing the files that we remove are used for is for actual submission, and at the end of 90 days the submissions would have already been done.  If not, they will not be removed.  They are only removed if they have not been used within that 90 day period.

You should ALWAYS have a backup of your files….  put them onto a CD or other backup device and store them locally.
